WASTAWAY ADDS PELLITIZER TO MORRISON FACILITY

October 1, 2008—A pellitizer has been added to the Wastaway facility in Morrison, Tennessee, to extrude Fluff into easily transportable pellets. The extrusion machines will allow Fluff to be extruded into 1/4" and 3/8" pellets, which can be used as a Refuse Derived Fuel feedstock (RDF) for chemical and thermal conversion to energy. Fluff pellets are easier to transport and convert to energy, and represents the next phase in providing waste-to-energy services for clients. The Morrison facility will be able to produce fifty tons of Fluff pellets per day.

The addition of the pellitizer is part of Wastaway's continuing research and development effort to continue to improve the system and find additional uses for Fluff.
