WastAway is the Green Solution for CMA Music Fest

July, 2010 -- Who did the Country Music Association call to deal with the trash that was generated by 300,000 Country Music Fans during their four-day Music Fest and Fanfare in Nashville? WastAway Services of McMinnville, TN.

“We were looking for a responsible green solution for our festival,” said Terry Aldredge, Project Coordinator for the CMS Music Festival. WastAway is no stranger to huge music festivals. Bonnaroo in Manchester, TN, a four-day music extravaganza, has used WastAway to process their trash too.

For one week in June, the country music industry says "Thank You!" to the fans at the Nashville event each year. Fans can meet and greet many of their favorite artists, pick up autographs, take close-up photographs and enjoy the many live performances as well as all the other sights and sounds around Nashville. The main Fan Fair events are focused in three venues in downtown Nashville, including LP Field, Riverfront Park, and the Exhibit Hall at the Nashville Convention Center.
